How is everyone doing here?

Is it just me or does it seem like postings are a little bit slow? I've only been a member for about 18 months, but the activity seems a little slow. Don't you guys dare go and all die on me. I'll chalk it up to summer and people are all out and doing stuff outside and travelling. I've lived in Florida my entire life and I'm outside 365 days a year.

It ebbs and flows, and the summer piece certainly plays a factor (especially for us northern folk). No worries, all is well.

 

Life has limited my spending money for coins and as much as I wish otherwise, I just don't have the time to coin roll hunt like I used to. I check the site a couple times a day though! This is the only "social media'" I do.

I have had the same problem lately, the kiddo Graduated high school and folks just haven't been biting on the bigger jobs. Lot's of descent 1/2 to full day pays though.
I bought a Morgan today @Barney McRae I was able to pick up a few fun coins actually, I will post them when I can get photos.

 

Business as usual for me except I have a head cold that’s killing me. It’s the first cold I’ve had in 9 years. I’m sicker than I think I’ve ever been. The Kleenex comes out of the box very fast. I’m miserable and I’m doing nothing except tending to my cold.

 

Alergies suck, we have had weeds and the smell of wet cut grass. Everything that has been blooming lately is not a usual allergy. At least at the base of the Co Rockies, real wet this year. Hope ya, feel better.

 

The SensibleSal66 guy has to venture back towards what I collect. Also working crazy hours to make up for time lost because of millionth heath crisis. James

I see lots of junk pitches on a daily basis online. The amount is mind boggling. However every week I see some hanging curveballs and it's tough to lay off of them, I like too damned many of them, several really nice sleepers per month.

 

The bid today had a very well paid young lady. Very pretty single young kid. She wasn't brainwashed, had a clear head, younger probably 30 something, I felt that curveball you are talking about.

 

Daughter brought home a cold from college so the wife got it snd 5 days later I got it. Been over a month and we still cough. Had to take my wife to urgent care because her throat was so bad. Negative strep test and negative flu test so I assume covid which apparently nobody cares about anymore. I don’t care either but I’m tired of coughing and hocking loogies.

 

When I was your age I was swinging at them all, coming out of my shoes. To be honest my slugging percentage was way too high for safety and sanity.

I have noticed it to be a bit slower also. Could just be summer. I'm not the most active poster but I stop by several times a day to make sure I'm not missing something important.

 

I've been spending most of my time organizing my 18th century German States collection. But I do check in to see what's going on.

 

A couple of them were removed a few months ago. One went straight to CU and didn't last long there. A couple people posting endless nonsense on every thread is not the kind of active forum I enjoy.

 

I check CT every day. I don't post every day, but I almost always like someone else's posts.

I think the weather plays a factor too. It's vacation season. Even I, a self described hermit, have been out more the last few weeks. When mother nature decides to be a little less hospitable, traffic will pick up!
