I been studying coins, Redbooks and coin rags to one degree or another for more than a half century..... How is that I am just now noticing that the reverse eagle on a trade dollar is the same as a twenty cent coin?

Yes, both coins were designed by William Barber.

I think they played the same trick on Susie and Ike.

Someday I am going to knock on your door with a cold six pack and sit at your coin desk with you. Man, if you don't have some of the finest pieces I have ever seen.

You would to give me an advanced notice. Most everything is in the bank. When I have an exhibit, it often gives me a chance to see. Pictures are great.

If I had your collection I too would keep it in the the bank. I often wonder sometimes why my finest coins are in a box at the bank when I initially wanted them so that I could enjoy them. Not the inside of a SDB.

That is the most extraordinary detailed Eagle I have ever seen @johnmilton . What a beautiful coin.

Probably those stamp collectors. Yes! They walk amoung us! They stole all our secrets. They'll use them on us when they take over.

Thank you! Both of those coins are graded MS-63. They are not “investment grade” coins. I’m not sure if they would be crack out candidates given the generally lower standards these days.

While it's a cool design that I like, it's always reminded me more of a buzzard than an eagle.:p

It is a little late for me but I'm finding out spending the extra money for True Views is worth it. And I'm horrible at taking photos.
