Forty years ago my favorite local shop would hand out the $1 ones in change. All were really worn but I saved them just for fun.
This thread makes me want to go shopping for a few nice ones.

I forgot that this one from early 20th Century Japan is also technically a silver certificate. It depicts the reverse of a 1 Yen coin on the reverse left. Though it's actually Sunday, not Saturday. Oh well.
