I hate to see the bank teller have to run the straps thru their counting machine. Run not only once but twice or sometime three times. And the sequence numbers became mixed. Cause the machine is quite old and stucked. that I have to fixed them at home. That also make those straps of crisp uncirculated became AU-UNC. When you tell them not to run it. They call the supervisor and tell me if I do not want them. Just leave. What should we do?.

No, leftover star notes from one series can be used as replacements in the next series, provided there hasn't been a design change. It would be perfectly normal to find, say, a 1950B star note in a new strap of 1950C regular notes.

No, this is never done. Star notes go into circulation *only* as replacements for defective regular notes; they're never issued into circulation in their own right. If you find a full strap of star notes, it means a full strap of regular notes was replaced by a star strap. If you find a full brick of star notes, it means every regular strap in the brick was replaced by a star strap--most likely some printing error affected many consecutive notes, like a digit in a numbering head getting stuck and producing a whole bunch of notes with mismatched serial numbers. But the label on the brick will always show the non-star serial numbers that are supposed to be in the brick, so you can tell that the stars really are replacements for particular regular notes, and *not* extra/leftover stars that were just sent into circulation.

They hand count the bills for me right in front of me. Restrap them and we're done.

Even an original box contained of 4,000 piece of paper note. Not every note will be in perfect condition. I noted the four corners of the plastic sealed paper notes. Because the plastic wrap is so tidely cover all over. It may damage the corner of the paper note and became corner cull. No wonder a perfect piece of paper note will always attached a high premium on it.

The b.e.p. Just announced that they will not issue anymore new $2.00 bill for many years. Cause the stocks is considered abundance for many years to come.

I was about to use some of them. But instead hold on to it.
