I'm a little burned on eBay lately, too. I had an overseas buyer NEG me recently after he received the four items he won from me in 3 separate packages and had to pay $77 in international shipping fees. I sent the four items in ONE, tight, secure package to the eBay Global Shipping Center in Glenview Heights, Illinois and gave the buyer combined shipping costs from my place to Illinois. Well, eBay obviously separated the items and re-packaged them into 3 parcels, which eBay (or its proxies) charged the buyer the international shipping fees. I have no control over how the Global Shipping Center handles packages nor can I "discount" international shipping, which eBay handles. I told all this to the buyer, and he refused to change the feedback. I complained about this, and eBay told me that they would let the negative feedback remain since there was nothing against eBay policy in his feedback (basically eBay said: "...well, he DID have a negative experience, you know"). The Indian customer service dorks even told me that I could "learn from this experience" by doing better next time. Tell me what I did wrong, other than choosing to sell on eBay...

I was able to see that the buyer's feedback is about the item they received. Since the feedback reflects the buyers' experience in the whole transaction, we will be maintaining the original decision. blah, blah, blah.... ___________________________________

You might want to minimally partially read the "terms of service" on any site where monetary exchanges may be discussed, as often the site has been given virtually absolute control by your contact!
@mlov43 if you want to battle it, you have to go higher up and see if you can get someone on the phone instead of the chat (which can be difficult too). Or try a new chat first to see if another rep will be better.
sounds like it better selling item(s) elsewhere other than feebay its not going to get any better along with ai s getting involved , ill get worse , imo
