1853 large cent for eval

    IDK I'd give her a 45 maybe even a 50.. hair is great full liberty, clear beads, clean and clear denticals obv and rev.. a steal for 26 bucks :D and a very nice Large Cent :D

    That’s a great buy @ $26. The coin is a classic EF-40. With “grade-flation, it’s now an EF-45 on its way to the AU numbers.

    You got a pretty good deal there! That is textbook XF, in which CDN numbers (Greysheet and CPG) are $46/60 for XF40 and $57/75 for XF45. Taking the average of the 4 numbers, you've got about a $60 coin for $26. ;)

    My father paid $10 for this 1853 cent at a fea market that was tied to a country auction. It's an important coin to me because it's the last piece my father bought for me. It was a bargain then, but not a huge bargain since it was 30 years ago.
