google the term "vice job coin" or "squeeze job coin"

 

The letters aren’t backwards, a sure sign of the coin being squeezed in a vise with another coin.

The issue on the Cent is actually a bit of dried clear adhesive on both sides. Not a vice job

 

Glue or adhesive is the usual suspect around here.
