You could. I'd say Interior die break or IDB for short.

It's a common place for a die crack on Washington quarters. Browse thru Heritage archives and I bet you'll find a bunch of them.

It looks raised and if it is it’s a mint error called a die break.

Die Break or crack, leave it in the cello, especially if it is a complete set. An error coin in a set would be worth more. Thanks for sharing, good luck.

Looks like more on the reverse.

Nice Die Crack in the head.
Is there also a nice straight roller line that runs from about 9 o'clock to the 2 o'clock position on the obverse ? It also has a slight Mis-aligned Die Strike.

i think so, looking at the coin it self there is a "crack" thru the eagles head and thru some of the script over its head.

i think i want to remove it from the cello i'm finding more things, and its a pain to look thru the plastic. taking out should reveal a different looking coin.
note: using a nice easy viewing stereo microscope. photos taken with camera on stand.

Die cracks are fun. Look at the reverse of this half.

This is one coin that should be left in the Mint’s original packaging. The coin might be harder to see and it may look different when removed from the cello but any price will be lost. It just becomes another coin with a die crack. The cello adds to the charm of it with a die break.
