Value is wholly dependent on condition and rarity. No two coins within the very generalized list you've given will be in any way related to the other; far more specific information, images included, would be necessary for any sort of accurate determination of value.

Their individual values will be largely dependent on their grades and what mint they are from. Grades are impossible for anyone to tell just from a list

Hello, you have a valuable coin collection. Wait awhile for responses from other members, as to where to take them for an honest, trustworthy numismatist, for evaluation, and appraisal.

Depending where you live there may be a major dealer in the area that would be willing to help for a fee. Being gold though if you are thinking of selling you will want to get them graded first

There are dealers and then there are dealers. Find them through the internet or even the yellow pages. I would definitely go to more than one. If a dealer makes you an offer, politely refuse until you have shown them to multiple dealers. It would be fair game to tell a dealer "Well, another dealer offered me $...." to see if it is a fair offer. It is hard for people here to say anything from a description of "USA Liberty 20 $ from 1911 to 1923" without knowing the actual year, which mint and what condition (not just real good) the coin is in.

I would go take the collection to at least 2 coin dealers to learn about what you have, and their proposed value.

The other thing to consider is that some coins have a lot higher value once graded - especially the rare dates and mint marks. It may be worth spending some time looking at a price guide at pcgs.com to understand this. The prices there are "full retail" which is not what you will expect to get for the coins, but it will show you the relative value between coins.

What part of the country are you in? You might be able to attend a coin show in your area and have several people look at them.

Whatever you do - don't take the first answer - or offer. Homework will most surely pay off in this case.

    Good luck!

Even assuming the smallest possible quantity of coins and the worst possible condition for each, this is at least a five-figure quantity of gold. If there are dozens of coins in total, six figures is more likely, and if there are real gems there, the sky's the limit.

I'd be really, really cautious about carrying them around.
