Sorry about the double post of photos ... still figuring out how everything works. I have just ONE coin ... not two!
Hello Rooman9, Not sure if you were replying to me or to Stuwii. Either way, nice to meet you! And if you were replying to me, thanks!
Stuwii, I'm a new member, too. I don't collect anything but US coins, but that'sa nice coin you have there. Congrats on acquiring it! Alan
Thanks Alan. Pleased to meet you. Thats a lovely looking coin you've posted. I don't collect US coinage but i do admire its beauty. Great piece.
Thanks, Santinidollar. I've heard the best-looking guys were named Alan ... I'll believe that if you will! I see you're a Cubs fan ... I'm originally from St. Louis. Bet we could have some interesting baseball discussions!
Alan is a pretty handsome name, for sure. I'm expecting another good Cubs season but I also suspect there will be a strong rebound by the Cards!
Picked this up for under $20 because I wanted the 1963 Type B quarter When it arrived I checked it out real quick and noticed that the Franklin looked like a clash. Looked it up and found out there is a FS-401 1963 'Bugs Bunny' and sure enough the die markers check out on obverse and reverse, score 1963 FS-401
These three just got photographed tonight, looking nice. I think the 1878 8TF Vam22B is going in for grading along with the 1860-O Seated Half. I thought I cherry picked a 7/8 TF but it turns out the seller just didn't have a steady hand
I will repost this once I take it out of the cardboard 2x2, so I can get rid of the reflections off the plastic. This 1912-S is raw, so you'll have to judge the grade. This is my 400th post!
I already have the silver in 70, now have the gold version also. One of the best looking commemorative ever created IMO. ( sellers pics. )
