May not be the best photos in the world, but here's another GTG for you. First off, I need a grade for this CAC-G slabbed coin, and I'll give you bonus points if you can tell me if there is an error on the slab.
MS 63 PL ...the error on the slab is that they forget to mention the "S" for San Francisco (the label you have should be for Philly mint coin)
Misaligned Collar, two small chips or gauges opposite the eye and the dot between E and P, aggressive bag marks. Less the S could make it a fake. The reverse may tell the rest of the story. I'm a Nik-Picker so you have to forgive my rant. Right, perhaps, or wrong I love Morgans. Thanks for the Show-N-Tell.
I cheated - I can still scan your barcode. It's also listed as Philadelphia mint on their website. Pretty disappointing mistake. Their images are great though and I would say it's fairly graded.
MS63. No PL, no DMPL. For whatever reason, TPGs are stingy with the PL designations for 3 years of 1880S, 1881S, and 1882S. I think it's unfair, but I've noticed the trend. It's a beautiful coin, BTW.
