@green18 I wish to know what you did to get only temporarily banned. It must be a fine line between not getting banned and getting permantly banned. I've done the former too many times to count and I still haven't found the tipping point!

You have been around long enough to know how this works, I think. ;) If a member does not play by the rules, he or she may get infraction points (Inappropriate Behavior, Language, etc.) - in many cases there is just a warning with no "points" at all, sometimes it's one or two points for a month ... depends. Once you have ten or more non-expired points, you will be out until some of these points get to their expiry date and get you below the "10" threshold again.

Now if somebody chooses to play against the rules, again and again, despite warnings, a permanent ban may be the consequence. In any case, that "line" you mentioned is actually pretty wide ...

Does the member get a notification when they get an infraction point ?

I would like to have larger sample sizes for both polls if possible.

I honestly think 71 responses is pretty good. More than most polls here seem to get.

That's more than I expected. Results are about what I thought though

How did you start collecting? Generally it is in one area. Then what happens? You branch out and find other areas you enjoy, maybe more than the original area.

If Carr's pieces bring more people into the hobby or keep them interested, I think it only helps support the hobby. For me it is something old and new at the same time. The pieces that are not overstrikes are much more interesting than the vast majority of what the mint is doing currently. JMO
