Metal Detecting - 1943 Walking Liberty & 3 other Silver Dimes!

Hello everyone,
This morning, I did a 4-hour Metal Detecting dirt fishing hunt at Brooklyn's Prospect Park. I tried a new are that I never hunted before with great results. It looks like no other detectorists have ever been there.

1943 Walking Liberty Half Dollar
1 - Winged Liberty Head
2- Silver Roosevelt Dimes


3 Wheat Cents



2 - $1.00 Sacagawea

Wow, that is one great haul for a 4-hour dig. You must have been on your knees most of the time.

The area was loaded. Especially with clad quarters. I know that the spot hasn't been detected before. I might hit it again next weekend. in 2 weeks, I head to Rock Hill South Carolina for the Nugget Noggin Live event. This will be my 4th time going

 

Hehe. Yep. Last time I told my friend about another spot at a Manhattan park he went the next day and detected Morgan Dollar!
That's still on my personal bucket list

Nice haul, but there is almost a 40 year spread in silver coinage...you need to get back there...you surely missed some hoard.
