My new oldest CRH find... Only the 2nd V nickel I've ever found, the 1st came in pocket change 4 years ago!
Did you find that today? Yesterday I found an 1898 v nickel! I have not broke the news to the roll searchers post your results thread because I currently can't post pictures. It's killing me that I can't post my finds!
Just found it today, I couldn't believe I found a V nickel in a roll! Its seen better days, but it's awesome to find nonetheless. It's numismatic value will never outweigh the personal value, so I'll be holding onto it for a long while. Definitely post that 1898 when you are able to... I'd love to see that!
Picked up a couple of quarter rolls. Now I have a pot full of 1964 Washington's. I kept the few dates there were. Anyone want 1 or 2, or more, 1964 Washington's?
OK, here is a sample of the 64's. Many have a mushy Rev. MM clear and some DD. All are circulated with clear dates.
I've read about the 1964D Washington 1965 Reverse. Suppose to be highly collectable. It said that this quarter has crisp feather detail on Rev. Although I just see a mushy rev., Some have clear feathers but what do I know. I'll post pics if I think it would be worth a collective look.
By the roll: Pennies: 1911 Nickels: 1916 2 feathers Dimes: 1964 Quarter: 1965 Half Dollars: ? 1970 or 71?
Stopped by my bank and picked up some nickels rolls. Second coin was this '43 Wartime Silver Alloy. Can't wait to see what's next.
I know it's in pretty sad shape, but I *think* this is a 10 Centimes of Napoleon III?
