Yeah, the SLQ definitely looked cleaned and i usually don't buy cleaned coins, but I paid under 15 bucks for it so I wasn't devastated. It was one of those "just because" auction wins where if won: great, if i didn't: even better. The V nickel was alright though and I won it for less than 10 bucks (seller hosts alot of auctions)
I haven't purchased a single coin in 9 months - the longest "drought" since I started collecting in 2011. I guess that ends now.
without having to look her up, what grade did she get? It would be nice if their true views told the entire story. Nice coin! w
@Barney McRae - Thank you. It’s a raw coin. I took the images. It took me a long time to be able to produce TrueView quality images. I just needed the right equipment and LOTS of practice.
What kind of photography setup do you have? I seriously can't take a decent coin photo, but then again, I refuse to buy a smart phone. I hate phones with a passion and only use a flip phone for communications only. My internet communications are laptop only.
It's easy. Just lift that rock your under and look for an inexpensive smart phone. I just use mine mostly for calls/ texting. Sometimes I take decent Pics also.....
Got this beauty today. Not so great pictures but a really great gold coin! @Eduard @Seattlite86 @Rheingold
Got my first Braided Hair last week for 30 bucks, paid $34.75 on the bay for the coronet head. feel like I came out a winner
I would have gotten them for $50 for the pair. Just kidding. nice buy. Remember, smart buying leads to a happier collector.
Yep, for some coins I'll pay a little more, but I've been getting into the mindset of buying to profit later on, even more so as I acquire duplicates. Looking at getting a Capped Bust Half dollar next. I've got my eyes on this one particularly
