I think I'm all out of coins that I haven't posted before. I bought this as plain MS60 in an ICCS holder. Much later I found that it is the short water lines variety (SWL), and has die clashes on both sides. Check out how strong the clash of George's eye is behind the native's head! Slight die rotation too. Later had ANACS slab it (MS62) but forgot to designate the SWL. Oh well.

I really like New Orleans Mint coins (I'm from Louisiana) and I like Carson City Coins. I don't get every one I see, but, if the price is right, i.e. cheap, I try to. @Inspector43 thanks for posting your CC Silver Dollars. Here are a few that I have pictures of. Some are well traveled, but I enjoy them anyway. I got the 1847 because I wanted one from 100 years before my birth year.

DC/MM VS US Mint... This is the one time I think the mint at least equaled DC.. but they both did awesome jobs on this "restrike" :D though the US Mint issue is a higher profile strike then the DC (that is usualy reversed)
    US Mint=2024
    DC/MM=1792
Both very impressive and I'm happy to have both :D

Well traveled means they worked for a living and have some character. That makes for great eye appeal. Nice coins Ken.

I half azzed started an every man's complete set of Peace Dollars because I have so many of them but my interest has about fizzed out since. My goal going forward is going to be is establish a good relationship with one good LCS and do trading and bartering to get closer to a complete Morgan series. We will see how far that goes. I am somewhat skeptical. But that is how I roll. :p It isnt' because I don't have an interest, I now have 150 graded and slabbed Morgans in my collection. I just have a hard time passing up fine BU choice Morgans especially with VAMs. I have many duplicate dates and mints, but still need a solid 15 coins to qualify for a complete Morgan set. The quest continues.

The 1893-CC was in the mid $450 range. The 1893 was $150. Not bad considering but the 1893-S is gonna cost me. It’s one of two that I need. At least I have money set aside to buy it when I find one.
I’m not sure of how many silver dollars I have but it’s around 1500 or slightly more. That’s why I went through them and plugged holes in my Whitman’s folders. If you limit what you buy to what you need, you can fill those holes faster. :)
