Modern Silver Mining Reportedly, Pure Silver may be produced from many obscure ores. Even those ores are found in small quantities, and many tons of material must be mined to produce just a few ounces of silver. At least 80 percent of the world’s silver is produced instead as a by-product of mining for other metals such as gold, copper, lead, zinc, and uranium. It's believed that the seemingly convoluted actions of a reportedly despised leader have resulted in an accomplishment this last week that will ease discussion of the relative value ratio between Gold and Silver! Gold Spot/oz. ~= $32++, Silver Spot/oz. ~= $31+ I believe individuals, as those visiting/posting here, may have had a significant portion of achieving a ratio number that can be remembered! Namely, ONE-HUNDRED
I thought I "remembered" that it's been higher before... Ratios are entertaining, but I'll stick with ratios that have USD as the numerator, I think. (I'm sure there are lots of ratios with gold as the numerator that are out of whack at the moment.)
