Do these help you grade it? Would like you guys' opinions. @mynamespat , @physics-fan3.14 , @Rick Stachowski , @Dave Waterstraat , @Paul M. , @Santinidollar , @davidh
I was thinking 63BN but after a visit to photograde I'm not sure about that. Please keep in mind I'm not all that familiar with this series as I only own one example for my 7070 album. I really do like the rim to rim reverse die crack though.
Looks like a tough coin to capture luster on. Based on what I've seen, if it grades cleanly, 63 BN seems reasonable.
Don't forget to factor that C-B-D's neat little Nikon tends to create a look that makes some think the coin might have been lacquered - the devices seem a bit "shinier" than they should. Don't let that deceive you.
Pretty sure that's my sort of yellowish LED light that does that. Seems to show off the luster better with it, but that's the side effect that I think you're seeing.
Honestly, it's not really in my wheelhouse and I would just be taking a guess at a grade (probably a good enough reason to spend a few days on series). I love the differences between the seller's photos and your own. If anything, the coin looks better with more fine details showing now. nice buy!
It's no big thing; just a correction factor much like what one does with brightly-lit high-res imaging and marks.
Nah. Not worth the time and money. I'll just leave it as is. A plus is as good as a green sticker, anyway.
