Hi everyone. I recently last year had some coins left to me and know nothing about them. They are not old by any means and they are US coins nickels in original Mint wrappers from 2004, 2005 (two different color Mint wrappers Green and Brown) and 2006. The wrappers say westward journey nickel series. The back of the 5 cent in the Green wrapper is some trees and the Brown Wrapper looks like a buffalo. The 2004 has 2 hands shaking and pipe. are these worth anything? Thanks.
Full sets of twelve rolls generally sell for about $50-60, but I've seen them go for a bit more on occasion.
Not worth all that much. They were issued back at the time (04,05) but in grand quantity's. I've garnered a few myself, but that was the collector fellow........still, I'm happy I've got them. No wind fall my friend.......maybe when we're dead.
thanks very much. In the box was also a 1953 penny that say "Proof" written on the paperboard it is sealed in. Man does it look shinny like a mirror. Oh and a 1950 penny it says Proof as well but it is not like a normal penny. It has hues of red, purple, blues on it.
I tried to take a picture but it does not come out very good. well I am under the impression that it has to do with being like a mirror?
Corp of discovery has always been important to me. The exploration of the Louisiana Purchase was profound, and undertaken by Captains Lewis and Clark. I've read much about it.
ok just took a pic with phone best I could do. the picture does not do justice to the colors. thoughts?
It's mysterious how he was killed. There are no definitive clues as to what happened. Many claim that he committed suicide, but I maintain that he was done in by nefarious forces.
It is indeed worth something to the collector. As for the price of said example? Whatever the market will bear. You'll not be rich from this example, but you will be able to buy more than a pack of cigarettes and a bar of chocolate.......
