Anonymous? It says my vote will be publicly visible........not that I give a hoot. The fore fathers didn't hide their identities when they signed the Declaration of Independence

FUN usually excludes me as well. Too cold in MN right now.

As for the theoretical poll, I think it would be an excellent place to obtain generalizable results. One must assume coin collectors are the target market, given the nature of the product. As long as you sampled collectors, I think it would be an excellent cross section of US collectors given many only come here for a vacation coupled with a coin show.

Sorry for boring PhD talk....I need to take a break from classes pretty soon too.

One thing I will say......If DC was making these things back in 1886 he'd be rounded up and isolated in an maximum (minimum) security Federal prison dealing with copy right infringement from HG Wells (Time Machine). Didn't happen........

Haha. I was just kidding. I'm neutral because I don't think it's having much of an impact either way. Just on CT.

I personally think they are neat.

Not yet sir. Maybe another year or so, but you or anyone else will ever need to call me doctor. :) Just doing it to learn how to learn new things and how to communicate better. Maybe my CT posts can improve. ;)

Heck, I'll be proud to call you Doctor.......you've learned me so much...... devil.gif Kidding aside, you're the Doctor when it comes to Coin Talk......you've taught me a heap. And I've always wanted to visit Minnesota........Not that I'd drop in on you. Just wanted to always visit the land of 10,000 lakes......so intriguing. I hear the fishing is mighty good.

The question is, do you get a Tardis upon completion?

LOL...I know how you feel. It's a tremendous accomplishment to get your doctorate, but for me...I was the same person after I got that sheet of paper as I was before. I know some people who let the "title" go to their heads. It just never made sense to me.

Proud as the devil as well as you are the same fellow I always knew way back in the old days when you was tending teller in the bank. I remember a broughaha about someone who brought some silver dollars into the bank. Your handling of the subject was most exemplary, though much of the commentary was less than such.......

Hopefully you will share your research on communication here. Maybe my prose will be more concise and persuasive.
