I sent my first submission to CAC 2 weeks ago. I sent seven coins in total, and five are coming back with beans. The shocker was this one which is coming back with a GOLD BEAN. Found it on eBay out of all places, and put in an offer for $260 which was accepted. I had a feeling it was nice for it's grade and thought it had a decent chance at a green bean. Never expected gold. This is the image I took before I mailed it to CAC. I'm not going to get it back for a few more days so I don't yet have a photo with the gold CAC sticker. Just found out today it got it. I know CAC gold adds a certain value, though I imagine being in a rattler probably would add more value to it still. Wouldn't even know what that would be, though I have no intention of selling.
You did a lot better than me. I sent a submission in the same time frame and I got absolutely slaughtered. Sent nine coins in only two got approved. Worst of all, one of the coins that beaned was one that I thought for sure would not. Meaning I was completely wrong on 8 out of nine coins. By far my worst submission ever.
Speaking of no sticker, I have this one in my collection. I had no idea it was CAC approved because of the lack of a sticker on it, but that info came up when I registered it on the NGC Registry (yeah, I know, it's a PCGS coin but I put it in an NGC Registry type set). Checked on CAC, and sure enough, it's in the database. So apparently an earlier owner of the coin either had it reholdered, or just removed the green bean sticker from the slab.
