I'd like to try for the pair of silver dollars again. There is just something about the heft that keeps me coming back to them. They feel like you have something of value, and I've always liked the eagle on the reverse of the Morgan.
The Cougar 1 oz. silver is really cool, but I still like the Venezuelan 5 Bolivares better! I enjoy the portrait, the coat of arms and the old silver color. As always, thanks for hosting these giveaways!
It is time for the drawing! Our lucky number was... 21! And Post #21 was by @Kasia ... on behalf of @masterswimmer! Kudos, @Kasia- and coingratulations, @masterswimmer! @masterswimmer - unless you've moved in the last few months, I've got your address. Have another look at the Giveaway Gallery and let me know what your final prize selection is. Allow me a little time to ship it- things are kind of busy here right now. Also, please post to this thread later, when you receive the prize, so we can all see that you got your item. Numismatic regards, ~Robertson ("Rob") Shinnick ("LordM")
He opted for the 1836 Bust dime, instead. Which means I need to get another Capped Bust coin of some flavor for the Giveaway Gallery, before long. I'll try to ship it before the weekend.
Hmm. Why is that do you think? Why is it that many people today that collect coins. trains and other hobbies later in life? Too busy while they're in their working years?
The eagle has landed. This will take its place in my 7070. Thanks once again to you @Kasia and @lordmarcovan Close it up, Rob.
