A very common coin and not in a good condition, it has an ugly cut on the obverse.

    Hopefully, I attributed it right:confused:

Tis is what I found in CNH:

Fun stuff. This is my only Celtic, albeit not Iberian.

Thanks. I knew I needed something Celtic in my collection, and wanted a gold stater, but those are pricey, so I settled for that little quarter-stater. It's still got the horse, and comes from a famous ruler, so... yeah. Maybe one day I'll get the full stater.

I do like some of these quirky bronzes, too.

    Comments:
They were generally intended to be worn or carried by the living.
This scarab is from the Gustave Mustaki collection. Mustaki amassed a collection of antiquities from Alexandria in Egypt. Mustaki was an avid collector in the early 20th century and his collection came to the UK under Egyptian license in 1947. Many of the pieces are in major museums world wide, including the British Museum, the Getty Museum and the Egyptian state museum. Ancient Art has purchased over 1700 scarabs from this collection.

@Alegandron, a beautiful scarab and the Castulo coin with the hand on the obverse is really nice.

The sphinx on mine is strange, it has teeth:hilarious:
