1997 Dime - PMD?

    A Missing Clad Layer issue usually only occurs just on one side.

    Here is an example from my collection..

    It could be on either side depending how the blank with the missing clad layer enters the chamber to be struck.

    Your Dime has environmental exposure toning to the Cupronickel clad layers unfortunately.
