Templates are coming along. Got the Gold CAC template worked out.

I have around 53 coins done, or around 43% of the collection done so far. I am doing 10 or 15 per night so I dont burn myself out.

CoinCorgi Tell your dog I said hi!

I like the template. Do you use Photoscape X?

I use photoshop. I actually started in the "baby" version of photoshop which is where most of my template designs were made, a program called "photoshop elements", but recently realized that full blown photoshop makes it so much easier.

This template was tricky. Thought it came out decent.

New coins imaged tonight. These were taken with my new camera photography setup, which I am still dialing in but so far I am very pleased with the results.

Quick shot of the new coin photography setup. I will detail the gear and my process in an upcoming thread in a week or so.

So far I'm very pleased with the results, although I had a couple of big hiccups with the initial setup.

    They look great!

I assume the Flying Eagle Cent grade was supposed to read XF45?

I am envious of your photog skills.

All look great, but my standouts on this viewing are:

    Liberty Cap cent
    Capped Bust dime
    1872 Seated $ (CircCam-a-licious!)

    Honorable mention: 1858 H10c

1838-O NS 10c not too shabby, either

    Long time no see!

Well, it was sort of a trick question. 1 coin they don't accept and 3 others failed. :sorry: I was quite surprised that the Classic Head failed.

I knew they didn't take the modern. I thought the copper a little too crusty surface wise to sticker

Full disclosure, some of my coins images are really from GC GreatPhotos and some are TrueViews.

I use those images in my "Templates" when I like them well enough.

Any other coins without those photos, I do take myself. For example, these are my images using a Ray Parkhurst copy stand type setup:

Some more coins imaged tonight. Actually, my last 5 coins I needed photos for.

Takes me forever to image coins. :wideyed:

Seated dollar is my newest coin. Took a gamble on that one. I'll eventually send it to CAC, but I don't think they will sticker it. I am borderline thinking it has been lightly cleaned and retoned in past, but I like other features about it, so I am like 70/30 on keeping it.

2023 MS Peace Dollar should be a MS70 IMHO. Coin is amazing.

Camera run out of juice, so you only get to see half this coin. :D

@geekpryde I think the Seated Dollar might have been cleaned in the past but it is market acceptable (although not necessarily for CAC). I like it and it has a nice Circulated Cameo look!
