As long as they list in in the Exonumia category and not "Morgan dollars or Peace dollars" categories then I'm fine with it. I've never done a search for DC material, but if they're in those categories, then I'd report them.

None. He is even covered under ebays intellectual property rights rules and if someone tries to sell a non Carr item while adverising it as one he gets it pulled immediately

So no. Okay, so that makes your opinion just as interpretive as the others. Please keep that in mind as you pretend to hold some sort of higher moral ground.

So concerned about money and profits.... not the gorgeous, copied, restruck, overstruck, destroyed Dollars that they were...

So someone can't like the fine craftsmanship... as well as the financial aspect? Hypocritical much ;)

And who cares about the "destruction" of dollars. That argument is arguably the most lame argument one can make regarding these. He's transforming them into something much, much better than what they were :)

I care about the destruction of the dollars. :stop: I don't understand how destroying a piece of history somehow improves it, but I'm willing to respect your point of view without needing to use words like hypocritical and lame.

The hypocritical part goes to a previous argument I had with him. He's a dealer / collector so his statement is a bit hypocritical. The lame comment is because it's true. Many Morgan were melted for the pitman act, the hunt bros era and whenever silver spikes. Taking common low grade culls and transforming them into beautiful works of art is awesome. Beats using them to dial in the scope on your rifle ;)

It's hot as Hades with the Daniel Carr debate in progress. ( done in Howard Cosells voice) Reading this thread is better than tv.

I'm not a collector, just a part time dealer who has a passion for coins and learning. Haven't collected for years. One day I will again, perhaps. In the meantime, Chris, stop calling me a hypocrite and making crap up. You can't even see yourself and the way you're acting, can you?

Is there a numismatic definition for redundancy? Cause if there isnt, there should be. And this thread should be it's example.

Arguing back and forth over and over again expecting to change someone's mind. Maybe we just need a numismatic definition for insanity...
