Do coins have a sealant? 2005 Nickel

    I got this one yesterday from the bank...what ever it is on the reverse side you cannot chip off at all. I tried with a wooden stick and this stuff doesnt budge.     It's glue. Acetone would remove it, but I wouldn't waste the time or acetone on it. Just release it back into the wild.
