I added this 1943 S to my set today. All I need for the set is a 40 S. I feel the San Fran strikes in the late 30's and 40's were weak compared to the other mints. Even though this is a lower grade than my others, I am pleased as punch that I can see the front skirt lines and eagle's breast feathers. Those details sold me on the coin. Now, off to hunt for that one last Walker...

Great coin and a Great series. Many years ago I knew an old man who had a huge Walker collection and would go in great detail about how the symbolism and design of the Walker is the only true depiction of Liberty and all it stands for. Congrats. James

Nice looking coin and a beautiful design. The only drawback I see is that it was unfortunately scratched deeply to the right of the mint mark.
