You can take it however you like CBD, don't like to argue, but I think we're going in the wrong direction with this new heading.
Extreme hypocrisy? Go back and read your own posts, brother. You've been going back and forth between acting innocent and calling everyone childish, apologizing for what became of your thread and then jumping all over people. Come on...
Ah forgot about that. But, now that I've thrown out some information your, does your opinion that DC coins are counterfeit remain?
I've never gone so far as to state that (though others have and it is their right to state their beliefs and reasoning). My position has always been that he should be responsible enough to sign his work.
Oh, I assumed that was your opinion. Well, if this whole argument is about signing the pieces, I can see that helping everything out greatly. This being an ease of conscience for the hobby populace.
Lol, no problem. Glad I'm on the same page! But, since this seems to be the main concern, I really don't see any further heated conversations every time someone posts a DC coin. If someone or @dcarr sees this, I hope he'll do something or look into this subject and what the benefits might be. But since the images used for his current reproductions and originals I don't think he'll be able to put his initials on the coins until the design goes into the public domain?
What you mentioned is in no way hypocritical. However, you guys not caring one iota about an actual counterfeit being sold for a large sum by a big dealer speaks volumes
@bdunnse , Lol that was funny, blame it on Snoopy! @Aidan_() It was a good try, all but @C-B-D seemed on board at the time, LOL. I am in the side that collects exunomia, and CWT's, among Mint state examples of US and foreign coins. I am quite all across the board when I Decide to buy a piece for my collection. It is these unique artful interpretations that Catch my eye. I also do my best to listen to others. Grandpa all ways used to say, You have two ears and a mouth for a reason. It is better to be educated and actually use your ears, Than to run your mouth, (well in this case) your fingers, and continue to incite a problem or, better yet speak ignorance.
What is it then, two-faced? And, while I thought the date on the 85-CC was "off," I didn't respond because I was unsure, I'll admit it. Did Dave or anyone report it or contact him, because if I was certain it was fake, that's what I would do. Hells Bells, I don't know it all... I bought a fake $10 gold Indian and 3, yes 3, fake Trade Dollars in 2015/16. Oh and a "rare date/mm" seated dime too, that had a mint mark added.
By the way @Cascade I will be picking up the DC piece tomorrow. I will let you know if it is the first second or third die pair. It is in a holder which is more towards die pair three.
It's being appologetic for this thread getting crapped on segwaying to defense once the inaccurate hyperbole and childish behavior started flying
I saw a Miyagi, @C-B-D and others, you were swatting at the flies. Is anyone else ready to to talk about the actual thread? Who guessed 25 pages?
26 in this neck of the woods. Glad I've kept up as I wouldn't want to get into this conundrum from the beginning.
