Those are both amazing sets! That type set sure does give you something to reach for, though. ;) Wonder how much it would cost to fill the remaining holes in VF or better?

Oh, and I absolutely love your 1921 Peace. One of, if not the best I've ever seen. Do you have a pic of her by herself? She was enough to distract me from all the green beans on that board! lol

Here is my set of the Roman Emperors from Julius Caesar to Postumus (including family members) in large bronze coins (45 Sestertii, 4 Dupondii, 7 Asses),
    44 BC to 268 AD.

Love the emperors and Mercs. These are perfect examples of people having fun with their coins!

..... and, to answer SpiritYoda, I've been working on that set for about 7 years.

Any plans to fill the remaining holes? That album sets up some pretty brutal expectations!

Oh, I'll get a few more for sure like the Liberty Cap Cent and the Draped Bust Half Dime. The Bust Eagle is also one that I have a particular fancy for, but that will take a happy coincidence of the right opportunity and plenty of free cash. The others are brutal indeed - Chain Cent, 1792 Half Disme, other early gold. Even though the set is something like 85% complete, to finish it would require 2-3X what I've already spent. I don't have much interest in coins below Fine. There's just not enough detail left to be worth it. It's OK to leave a few empty slots. It adds intrigue. :)

Several will be upgraded though. Off the top of my head the 3CN, Shield Nickel, Capped Bust Half, and many of the more common gold pieces could use stronger examples. I've been learning as I go. There's a few ooopsies still in there.
