For a '92 ASE I'm just buying it for the personalization. I have a much higher interest in Morgans than I do ASE's for the silver, but I'll probably buy at least one of the 2020 Emergency Production Series just for the historical fact. I'm not going into detail for obvious reasons, but I'll be vague and say I don't think any of us are going to forget what happened that year.

At $5 a piece I would have bought them all.

I might not forget what happened in 2020, but I would like to. My mother in law spent the last months of her life in insolation for the rest of the family because that pandemic. Everybody was miserable. I'd need a commemorative coin to remind me of what it was like.

I've always been a solitary/very introverted person, but I've also lived by the "Those who don't know their history are bound to repeat it" motto. 2020 changed a lot of people, but I'm thankful to say it made me an even more empathetic/stronger person. I'm sorry your mother in law had to go through that. I don't know too many people (especially my age) that are close to theirs so it's nice to see someone else that's had that connection to theirs.
