If it is a circulated coin it is worth five cents. 1964 had a huge nickel mintage and for years was the most common nickel in circulation, even today they are often found.
Wasn't me, my post was from 2010. As for the coin, an NGC MS66 sells for $15-$20, mine is an MS67 which has an NGC population of 7/0.
Do you know where you got the info from. I have 5 with no mintmark along with 20 with D mintmark I was holding on to them thinking they were silver. I'd like to attach some backup info with nickels for future reference thanks. I can leave email address edited

I just got one too from McDonald's. I didn't know they were so rare. I almost spent mine at the 7-11. Boy, that was close! That thing is over 25 years old!
It needs to look brand new with sharp details and original mint luster, and has not been cleaned. To find a nickel like that in circulation (1964 or otherwise) is quite rare. It's easy to find a 1964, but they are all banged up from being in circulation for over 50 years. They are still common to find today because they made so many of them. The odds are, it's worth .05 cents.
So you're telling me that a 1964 nickel is not worth nothing? It's got no mint on it at all.what are full steps?
