I feel like I just read what a cow regurgitates to chew for a second or third time. A 17 year old post brought back to life? Must be a record.

    The edge of the "coin"

The coin is not in my hands, I only see photos. The owner says:

"this line not cut the entire circle of the coin, and not take the lower part of the outline, seems only on surface"

    Thanks again.

I have to agree with enamel7. The mint normally used different size shanks on the obverse die and the reverse die so 2 same face dies could not coin. Although some one could have altered it in the mint with a grinder, I do not think is high. Also the line does seem to go all around in the photos above although high quality machinery to get excellent joint. Too many factors ( including two dates) is 99.9% fake.IMO,
no offense to the owner. Jim

I found a 3 headed quarter while sorting my change today. I was so jazzed that the cashiern at the market musta given it to me in change by accident. Saved me a trip to mt rushmore he did.

I have seen those coins before, posted somewhere. Some dealer in Vegas used to own them if I remember right. Way to dig up a good read.
