My thing is picturing what I see in hand, wether it could be NT, or AT. It is what I collect It may or may not become part of my collection. But, what is in your hands is what you collect. I love this Hobby!
Haven't seen one of these in a while in circulation. I have a jar of them somewhere that I put away back in the day. This must be die damage right? LMAO. Not bad for circulated 40 years later
Funny, I just found one today too... And just yesterday I was thinking about how all I find is post 1998 quarters in change now.
With my change, I take all the modern quarters (and other newer change) that go into a bucket that I return to the bank. For all change with the reverse of the eagle or, as this example, the bicentennial drumming guy goes into another container that's stored away.
I got this in pocket change a few weeks ago, thought it was a toner. Wife told me it had been burnt in a fire.
This may sound crazy, but while I was checking the local coinstar reject pile (They throw out the silver coins because of the weight difference) after someone dump about $200 worth in change and didn't check the rejects, I found an 1820 large 0 dime! It looks about Good to Very Good but has two holes in it. My new camera is in the mail and my old one is broken so I don't have any photos, but definitely my greatest find!
Yep, still the shield. If the US Mint keeps with tradition it'll be there until 2059. They have changed the reverse design every 50 years to celebrate Honest Abe and the Lincoln cent itselfs milestone birthdays.
Generally something like this when I load pockets in the morning. Somewhere between $2 and $2.50. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
Got $.27 in change from local store the other day. One was a 1975 Canadian Cent and these 2. 1995 Washington Quarter (clashed reverse) Got this same day same store as well. Was one of my better pocket change days.
