I've been upgrading those Lincoln cents (1941 thru 1974) for MANY years and they are my pride and joy!. I'm thinking about selling them. All but 3 are AU to BU. The 3 in question are 1965, 1965P and 1972D. Not sure why I don't have these as at least AU!!!! The set also includes 1960 large and small date coins, but does not contain 1955 DD. I've looked and cannot find another set like this one. So I'm not too sure what is a good price. I'm thinking $200.00 Does that sound about right? Too Low? Too High? Any thoughts anyone may have would be appreciated. Thanks Geod
The majority of the set is RD so that's a benefit. There would have to be a few of them that catch my eye at that price.
Maybe a little high based on same Lincoln cent upgrades I made. It depends on how many of those are 65 or better BU.
That’s a very nice set. Your price might be a little high but that depends on the buyer. If you start high you can always come down. If you start low you can’t go up at all.
I’m sure it must’ve been printed in ‘63 or ‘64, before Whitman or anybody else knew the Mint was gonna drop all the mintmarks from ‘65-67. PS- In a similar vein, I wouldn’t be surprised if there were half dollar albums printed in 1963 that had holes for 1964 and 1964-D Franklin halves.
