Hello all. It's "Seated Saturday" again. So, get them girls out form those safes and do some posting! Thanks for viewing and sharing!
Seated, you say? We've got a giveaway for that... Wasn't there already a Seated Saturday post recently? I seem to recall posting all my Seated stuff there.
Did you dig that 1853 dime, Sal? I dug a few Seated dimes back in my detecting days. Not an 1853, though.
My oldest personally-dug silver coin is a circa 1300-1310 silver penny of King Edward I "Longshanks". Found in England, of course. My oldest dug silver with an actual readable date on the coin was this 1776 Spanish half-real, I believe. My oldest dug silver US coin was an 1829 Bust half dime (also holed). But I've strayed away from the subject of Seated stuff. Unfortunately, since most of my metal detector finds from 1992-2013 were never photographed, I don't have pics to share of the Seated stuff in that album.
Go easy on Sal. He's been doing this so long he is running low on new header's. P.S. I like his imaginative headers more than the coins. - Big smile on my face.
