Normally, as many of you know, I collect primarily Silver coins. However, from time to time, I pick up a nice type coin that is different from my normal collecting milieu. I decided to buy this 2 cent piece, that is a PCGS MS 64 BN. Liked the color and the toning, that is partially red, yellow, and some little bits of blue. Thought it was a nice coin for a reasonable price, and a welcome change from my normal Large Silver obsessions: The marks on the holder, not the coin--fingerprints.
I don't own one of these, but I keep hoping one will show up that meets my criteria. Yours is quite nice, congrats.
The coin in my avatar is quite similar (same date!). Sent to PCGS and they returned it Uncirculated Details: Questionable Color. Very bummed.
I like 2 centers as well. None of mine are in the best grade but its nice to have something from the Civil War era.
