This was my latest communique from around Christmas. I understood the message immediately. Anyone else?

That seems like a more obvious one.

masterswimmer A Caretaker, can't take it with me

I'm used to hearing it called Plymouth Rock. But whatever ;)

Now that the cat is out of the bag... :cat:

In my younger days I closely associated Plymouth and Dodge. Every Plymouth model car had an almost identical Dodge version with a different name (or vice versa).

So, "Dodge" as a clue made me immediately think of Plymouth. And the rest was easy.

But for younger generations I'm not sure if the association would be so easy.

I was going to say something similar but didn't want to give it away. True, Plymouth ended 24 years ago so younger people are less likely to get it. My first car was a 67 Olds Cutlass. Oldsmobile only lasted a few more years after Plymouth.

“DODGE STONE” took me a good 20+ seconds to figure out, but I did at least get that one on my own.

I confess most of them fly past me, though.

Imagine the threads in 2125 - “This belonged to my great-great grandfather and he said it was very special.”

...and my first three vehicles were Plymouths. Used Plymouths. :oldman:

Had a '84 Cutlass Supreme. It was awesome for comfort, speed and all electric windows/ doors.

Mine was also used, by my grandpa. 400 cu in. V8, 350 hp, 3 speed automatic, 0-60 in first gear. Wrong car to give a teenager...
Sorry for derailing the thread. Quarter Master caused it.

Any chance those letters can be scanned and emailed out?
I'd like to get a copy.
This would make for great conversation at the local coin club.

I think if you do a Quartermaster search, you would find them all posted here in various threads. Heck, I can't keep up with tax paperwork myself!
