I looked at that skull in MS70 I think they want too much money for that kind small fraction of gold. and over $100 for the one ounce silver, too much. they are nice though. great looking coins.
I had to memorize Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening in the 3rd grade. Then recite it in front of the class.
My first Flying Eagle, yea! The 1938-D Buffalo MS67 is not the same one I posted a couple weeks back. I got another one with same grade that looks very similar to the first one. The Texas Commemorative photos are seller's photos.
This one I'm pretty excited about. Should be here in the next few days with the PO awesome holiday hours and closures. The seller said the mark in the right field wasn't a scratch... I'm hoping that is true. then after I won that I looked to see if I could buy anything else with the seller and won this(got to love auctions that end at 7am!) Then I was pleasantly surprised when this $17.20 Barber Dime ended up having a beautiful S mint on it. I have a few more coming in the mail including a 1893-S Barber Quarter, but I'm really looking forward to the first two. Will have enough for a NGC submission after they show up. The Barber Dime is heading into the Dansco.
Nice. Great that they put a VAM in this year although I like the example @messydesk used for his calendar better
Good to see some VAM love from PCGS, but this is the one coin where I outdid them. Here's the one I used. Same grade, nice toning.
Technically every Morgan and Peace Dollar is a VAM of some sort. There was a Morgan Dollar for 2016 too.
Hello captain obvious. Of coarse. But a Morgan on its own will not have the possibility of garnering interest in VAM collecting from a PCGS member who has a scarface, staring them in the face, on their wall for a month... with a blurb about VAM collecting and the top-100 below
First newp of 2017. Very happy with what the pics are showing. Hopefully the coin looms as good in hand.
