I forgot to mention the old man and how people would sometime call him Richard on the show (but not very often). I have a lot going on right now so I forget details sometimes

Congrats on the win @rte, and thanks for everyone's participation. Round 4 winnings were dropped off at the post office today, Friday January 31st (PM sent with a tracking number). I've included a couple little things to go with it. Please do let us know when you get it.

    Regards,

Appropriate timing for this drawing, as the commemorative features the same type of bird I've been using my new lens on from behind my backyard these last few days...

Wow! Amazing shots, particularly the flying one!

We have ‘em here too, but so far the best I’ve managed to capture with my cellphone has been a blurry blob on top of a tall utility pole and a blurry speck flying over the river.

Thanks for your feedback! I enjoy wildlife photography. I also enjoy designing websites. I don't enjoy searching through my thousands of photos to show people the 'good ones'. That's why I finally spent an hour to design this online portfolio. Check it out if you want to see some more of my photos. I'm still in the process of adding more, and different categories, so bear in mind that these are not all of them. I might add an astrophotography category next... :wideyed:
To keep this semi-coin related, here's a bullion shot I did for product photography practice:

How much numismatic photography have you done? You might acquire me as a customer in that arena... ;)

Looks great, BTW. I like the flying Canada geese and the heron & pelican pics.

    Very nice, thanks again Abram.

It's been many years since I've seen cents in Littleton packaging,
I have a funny story about a lot of coins that I picked up 20+ years ago...son inherited the fathers collection and was selling a couple bust half dollars and a $5 gold liberty head in Blanchard carded plastic flips.
I was high bidder on eBay and had the seller combine shipping costs.
I also asked if he was going to list anything else. He said he wasn't sure, he has a few more things but the local dealers weren't really interested and didn't feel there was much value in the rest of the items.
I had him put together a list and send me his contact information.
I looked over his pictures and most were in the Littleton carded plastic flips with MS 63 or better grades.
The rest were random newer proof sets.
I made the seller an offer and it was twice what his local ship offered and he asked me if I was sure about my offer.

The 1943-S silver dime is always nice to come across, the war nickel being an S is one I don't see often. IMG_20250207_230629086.jpg
I was scratching my head on the state quarters:D
Thought maybe error coins until I turned them over:D had to look up the FELINE EAGLE.
The 1/4 EAGLE I have actually seen before.

    Thanks again, Rick
