Looks uncirculated to me but I am somewhat unsure since my paper money grading is crap.

What do you grade it? 20250201_214642.jpg 20250201_214648.jpg 20250201_214701.jpg

a little wavy gravy, not sure how that would affect the grade but would go CH/CU

Believe it or not, that's exactly what I was thinking! At first, I looked at it and was going to sell it as an AU, but I made sure to inspect it. What's better is that CPG for 64 is well over double that for AU grades.
That's one thing I'm happy about with the note. No folds are just that much better, but it is also a lot better on the CPG. Maybe I ought to study my notes a little further than thinking it's AU by the corners! ;)

I agree with you on that. The main thing holding it back would be a small handling sign on the corners, but there is some toning on the paper.

Thank you! This was almost overlooked as I got it for $2.60 along with several others from one of my local coin shops, but I'm glad I got a weird feeling about it. ;)

I have one not nearly as nice because it has a horizontal fold through the middle. Not worth sending in for grading.

That's a nice $2.00 but I would grade it as AU due to handling. I tried to zoom in on the top border & at the notes edges (centre). The paper cut on an UNC note has a razor sharp, uninterrupted edge whereas your note shows disruptions. You can see this tiny (very minor) indent on @Jersey magic man 's example (the horizontal fold, he mentions). Yours appear to have a few more but they're less noticeable. You can see the disruptions to the edge on the same area on the back of the note. The bottom border is in better shape (explained next). That's likely b/c they were "soft folds."

It appears to have been stored in a wallet. Certifiers call these "soft folds" since they were caused by wallet use (folded carefully with other notes & wallets protect the bottom edges somewhat).

There's one additional "tell" that your note has met minor circulation. Zoom in on the bottom border below the "T" of "TWO" and you will see a minor stain: could be crayon, dried blood or food.

Very nice note but I'm pretty sure if you were to submit it, it would come back AU58 (IMO).

Photograph it with side lighting to expose any folds.

That is REALLY cool! Trinary star note, small repeater, and in 66 EPQ. That's right up an "odd note" collector's alley.
