Just finished a cool little set

How little? 3 coins. 1921-PDS Broadstruck Morgan dollars. I picked up the 21-D this week from the post office.



Here are the other two




Bought the first one, the 21-S, in 2018, the 21 in 2021, and the 21-D last week. Not an easy set to put together.

That is a cool and interesting set, totally unique. I’m sure it wasn’t easy to complete so Congratulations.

 

Ha this is awesome. I've never even seen a broadstruck 21.

 

They are not common, for sure, but "easier" than the earlier dates.

 

It's an amazing coin. PCGS graded it 64+. They don't come much nicer than that.

 

Very cool set! And I would imagine it took some deep pockets for those.

Deep pockets is a relative term. You can look them up on Heritage. In my opinion, I stole the 21-D.

 

A couple 83-Os have come up.

Someone else suggested a 21 Peace dollar to go with them. The do exist, are spectacular coins because of the relief and strike that comes with being a broadstrike, and are very expensive.

 

I love broads. I mean, well you know. Nice set.

 

And getting struck by them, I guess?
