    I assume you're talking about an SLQ - which is awesome! The closest I've gotten to that is a 1917 Type 1, but I'd love to find a 1916 any day.

    Yes SLQ, he brought it to the meeting to have me look at it and confirm it was a 1916.

    How can you tell a dateless 1916 from a type I 1917? I didn't know the design was different,

    There are guides with photos online. I don't have any bookmarked, I just Google it each time.
