I saw one years ago during a random search of similar tokens, this one has had a hard life and hits home on a few points, others are a peddled misbelief.
Cool old token, even if it doesn't carry its point across ideally. In my personal tobacco experience: Idleness: maybe. I take far too many smoke breaks at work. Poverty: not quite, but yeah, OK, I do waste a pretty fair bit of money on the habit. Strong drink: nope. I'm a smoker, but I'm a teetotaler and have never consumed alcohol. I do sort of have a Yoo-Hoo problem, though. Does that count as a "strong drink"? Vice: not really. In fact, smoking might help prevent vice, in my case. I know that going out to smoke a ciggie has prevented me from strangling to death many a person who richly deserved it. Ill health: well, yep. Fair 'nuf on that point. Insanity: nope. Really? Read my comment above about "vice". Sometimes lighting one up is what has brought my sanity back. Death: well, yep, again, but hey, we've all gotta die of something eventually, right? So that’s: sorta-sorta-no-no-yeah-no-yeah. Not the most convincing case. I don’t think a jury would convict.
I am the last to be idle in the day light, I would be considered below poverty on tax day. Beer and Mary are my vices. I have zero problems with physicality, the mind might be problem in old age, but we'll see about that.
If you are serious about quitting cigarettes let me know. I did it almost 5 years ago. Still have a little once in a while but Not like before. Sorry, didn't mean to get of topic.
Just please don’t tell me what the guy who runs a bait shop is. You know, the fella whose expertise in different kinds of baits is so advanced, they call him a master of the trade?
That would be the baitmaster. The third one is opposite. Strong drink made me smoke more, and no longer smoking made me drink more.
