Hello all! I tried a 2023 version that never really took off. So, I'm starting one for the rest of 2024 and hopefully into 2025! Please post one or more of your favorite Large Cents. ;)
All mine are obviously "dug" as I only own one Non-dug (1817). These others are as follows, 1801, 1803 and 1847.
Have a Great Weekend everyone! :joyful:

Does this look like a 1816 or 1818?

I bought this 1828 large cent from an EAC dealer at the recent FUN show. He graded it AU-50 EAC net grade to 40+ with "great color." What do you think?

I don't think I've ever seen a large cent with color like that.

Here's your second one with this color or close to it. Bought from Col. Steve Ellsworth at FUN show 2020. Graded MS-63 but really EAC AU-58.

This first coin is the most recent large cent addition to my collection. It's a PCGS AU58.

That makes it the second-nicest Coronet cent I've owned.

The best of that type I've had was this PCGS MS62 BN, likely from the Randall Hoard. It had a lot of red for a BN-rated coin. Sadly, I no longer own it. Check the groovy circular die crack.

This PCGS MS63 BN 1851 was the highest graded large cent overall that I have owned. I no longer have it, either.

I've dug three while metal detecting over the years, but don't have pictures of them. They were a dateless Draped Bust (1796-1807), an 1837, and an 1850.
