    Yikes. Nearly a month! :nailbiting:

    Well, drat. :(

I mailed it with stamps from my rural mailbox, so there is no tracking. But it was sturdily packaged, with a bubble mailer inside a cardboard mailer. I hope it just fell under a table or something during the holiday rush, and that it’ll get found and routed to its proper destination.

If it still hasn’t arrived after another little while, remind me, and I’ll send you something else.

My first ancient coin too! Byzantine follis, way older than anything else in my collection.
    Many, many thanks. :D

    Hooray! Thanks for the update!

I'm curious- is that a Barber or Seated dime?

So all that's left now is to find out what happened to @INDE1977 's Round 8 winnings.

@INDE1977 - let's give it until the end of the month, and if by February 1st you still don't have anything, I'll let you pick another prize from my Giveaway Gallery, OK?

It's my first Barber dime, 1903 O. :joyful:

I like those New Orleans mint coins. I dug up a 1903-O Barber dime in an old park here, once upon a time, when I was a metal detecting fanatic.

Can't believe you're in the UK and didn't already have an ancient coin. Speaking of detecting, I'll bet you've walked right over the top of one or two, and never knew it!

@INDE1977 - still no joy on your Round 8 prize? I believe I said in a past conversation that we'd wait until February 1st to see if it showed up. If it never did, I guess we've got to write that one off as lost in the mail, and let you pick another prize. Let us know.

The Round 8 prize is now presumed lost in the mail. :(

Replacement prize shipped 5 February 2025.

@INDE1977 - do please post here when the second shipment arrives.

Yay! Thanks for the final update. I’ll lock this thread down for posterity, now.
