    And there are more besides. Wobbly campgates, my Secret Santa Galerius (no picture yet) but that is enough for now, and I haven't counted them.

    Lots of great choices! Some I've seen before...and I think I've bid against...

    I don't know about a favorite of the bunch but I do really like that man-faced bull!

    I really like the Drusus bronze. Love the toning on the "Ptolemy X or possibly IX". The Constantine II open doors is also cool.

    Nice selection for your year.

    My problem is that the coin I am holding at any time is probably one of my favourites. I don't have the budgets of some of you, but that doesn't matter. I am like a kid in a candy store. A wobbly campgate (and I have a few now) gives me as much joy as the MFB. If I ever lose that feeling, it will be time to give up.

    The coin that Chrismat sent me to clean is one of my favourites. So are the coins that are ex YOC. I could go on and on.

    I am seriously thinking of approaching one of the local photographers to see if he can give me a "master class" sometime in the new year.

    In January, I am going to the York Racecourse for my first coin fair if any of the UK people want to meet up.

    It is hard to pick for all our groups. I really like the strike on the Trajan reverse.
    My experience with photographers is that they can shoot what they can shoot and are helpless in other venues. I do macro, nature and kids but am terrible at weddings and portraits. At the moment there are photographers making a living shooting into the light and calling it art. Good luck on your search.

    Here is my coin of Homo Neanderthalis............. sorry I meant Ptolemy X.
    I really need to get a coin of that Ptolemy, I think it was VIII, who sawed his son in half and sent this pieces to his sister/wife.
    Such a lovely family :rolleyes::confused:

    Fantastic set of coins Pishpash, I especially like your three architectural coins, the Trajan column is excellent with it's column spiral detail and your Gordian 111 arch is another I would like in my collection. Well done congrats on a great year of collecting.
