Hello all, Long time no see! I've been away from the coin collecting game for a while. I had a pretty large silver collection that I had sold to fund concert tickets for my girlfriend's birthday. Long story short, we are no longer together. I am looking to get back into investing in silver and collecting silver eagles. My main question is, is there a place to "subscribe" to get silver eagles monthly, or quarterly, etc? I also have an ATB quarter map, but I haven't seen those in circulation in forever. I was checking out the US Mint's website, but that isn't showing prices. Is that because it goes off silver prices at the time of release? Anyway, just looking for any information about getting back into buying/investing in silver. Any information is welcome. Hope you all had a merry Christmas!
Well since silver eagles only come out once a year, I don't see where you can get them as a monthly subscription. As for the mint subscriptions, you can go to the product enrollment and set that up. Any of the present year will have the price if they are still for purchase. The next years will not show a price until they are getting close to the release date.
Lets see .... concert tickets<silver coins It must of been one helluva a concert to cash in your whole collection.... What band(s) were playing?
Yeah, I thought about that after I posted it. If the products are too much for me at time of release, am I able to cancel?
Haha. It was a good concert. Worth it at the time. I surprised her and her mom and dad with VIP tickets to a Luke Bryan concert.
Good prices for various years ASE you can get from a variety of vendors, UNC and Proof. Such as providentmetals.com, apmex.com and many others. of course there's always Ebay.com and other auction places.
I've only heard of them recently. ProvidentMetals is free shipping over $100 - which is what I aim for. So you'd have to compare Silver.com (or other places) prices at certain levels to include shipping and compare a per price for each ASE / ATB. I've never ordered from silver.com (yet) to compare potential shipping charges edit: I was just looking again. I like their prices. I may order a few various ASE years as a price test.
Yes, you will get an email about a month before release. If prices aren't listed then, they will be before you order is charged, usually right before shipping. There will be a "cancel" button that you can use.
Ugh! Reminds me of when I sold a Music Man Amplifier with a 4-12 bottom to buy Racing Tires. The tires lasted about 6 months but I'll bet that amp is still working like a champ! I miss that Amp!
