VAM-19, don't know if it's quite late enough (retained cud above M in AMERICA) to be the 19A stage. This one is a, um, rather difficult pick to say the least.

Oh, for the record, I am giggly-pleased at what my Secret Santa did for me, and images will be forthcoming, but I decided today was the day to finally force myself into a spreadsheet for my coins and I'm still working the Cents. And he sent me Morgans....it may be a while. :p

Wow. That's really cool! Too bad the artist didn't carve a nice faux planchet crack in it too lol. Seriously though, that's way cool.

IMG_2568.JPG IMG_2569.JPG IMG_2570.JPG I want to thank, thank, thank my secret santa. This quarter is awesome! I love washingtons and I don't have a lot of varietals so adding one is sweet, especially a DDO

Just got back from the kids/grandkids celebration and was finally able to open mine.

    THANKS, SS!

I may be the only US collector around who has never owned a silver eagle. And not only me, but my wife as well LOVED the Eisenhower commem.

    Quick and easy pics.

My SS turned out to be someone I interact with frequently here, which was an easy setup for him. :)

He's had a couple of coins I specifically mentioned I'd like to image, and he chose to make that ambition easier to accomplish by giving them to me. So, without further ado, an 1879-S Morgan (Shenzhen Mint):

    10001879SRevPosting.JPG

Not a bad job as they go; it'd easily fool a newer collector.

And for the real piece of resistance, a 1921 with one of the cracked planchets he's notorious for:

    10001921_1RevPosting.JPG

Naturally, my first reaction was to try to attribute it, and here's where the "piece of resistance" comes in. There barely ain't even scribbles to go on. :p

Thank you, @DysfunctionalVeteran. You made my day. :D

Finally got a few minutes to open mine. Got some cool world coins. Not really my area but I do have a small collection of similar coins these will go great with. Especially the Florin. I have one or two of them, always liked the design. Thanks Santa :)

Thanks to my secret santa! I'm loving the new coins and tokens, especially the example with the great reverse cud.

I'll have to post pics later. I'm recovering from major surgery and it took all day just to get through opening presents with lots of breaks.

I received a parcel from Canada with a 1913 George V 10 cents piece and a 1946-D Roosevelt dime, along with a beautiful Christmas card. Thank you, Secret Santa :)

I must have been a good boy this year, eh?

Fantastic you guys!! Some incredibly generous SS's in here. While I didn't recieve a gift from my Secret Santa yet, I did get an amazing gift that was given to me by Mother from my Grandfather who passed away back in 2010. It's not coin related so I will post it in the general discussion area.

My Secret Santa last year went way above being generous and would make up for several years of not receiving a gift. So I will re-share my favorite coin from 2015 Secret Santa. :)

This 1835 Capped Bust Half was given to me raw. I finally sent it into ANACS to get graded and it came back straight graded at VF-35. So thank you again Secret Santa 2015!!

Good morning guys. Sorry for the delay in getting images up of your overly generous gifts. This one came from @Santinidollar, beautiful 2016 ASE. I had the good fortune of meeting Alan for a few drinks a couple of months ago and thoroughly enjoyed our time together. We'll have to do that again sometime and perhaps get to go into James H. Cohen's this time. Thank you Alan for this generous gift.
