Looking thru a bunch of world coins I have and came across this Spanish Una Peseta from 1947. Looked it up on-line and noticed there are variations . This one has a "56" on the upper star of the design. It was very hard to take a picture with the "56" showing, but I think you can see it in the photos. On-line also mentioned this is the most desirable of the 1947 Una Peseta coins but the word "PLUS" has to be legible. I also tried to take a picture of "PLUS" in the legend but that was harder. The word "PLUS" can be seen on the coin but it does not jump out at you.

Any idea what this coin is worth in this condition?

    Thanks

I'm not good at grading. It does seem to have a small remanence of original red on the surface. Is there a site where I can go to compare my coin to examples?

I don't know of any site devoted to the grading of this particular coin. Looking at your pics again, perhaps it's better than XF. AU - U
